Translation

Once we have examined the received documents, regardless of whether they have been finalised or not, we will send you a quotation to the nearest Euro cent for our services.

How can we do that?
We base the quotation for a translation on the number of “source” words (the total number of words in the document(s) to be translated). In accordance with practices widely employed within our business sector, our word counts are auto-calculated in MS Word using the "Word Count” option. Word counts for other file formats are calculated according to the same criteria (articles and figures count as one word).

The word count is multiplied by the corresponding price per source word and any extra charges resulting from the file format, any required specialisation and/or urgent delivery deadlines are added on.
In this way, you can use this calculation system to quickly calculate the budget that you need to allocate to your translation project.

Minimum charge
Whatever the volume (or word count) of the document for translation, the processing of a translation requisition is always based on the same process. In order to cover all of the various expenses resulting from each translation project, if, for example, it is a matter of translating just a few words into several languages, Atom e-City applies a minimum charge per requested language. On the other hand, we do not charge a placement or new project fee.
